Being Church Together this Holy Week
Greetings in Christ,
I continue to be amazed at the outpouring of support from St. Michael’s and St. Mary’s parishioners. Fr. Powers and I have received many letters, emails and Facebook messages thanking us for the innovative ways we have tried to continue “being the Church” when we cannot gather together at our church. I’m so pleased that you have appreciated the live-streamed Masses, the drive-thru confessions, and the mini-Eucharistic processions.
No doubt this has been a unique Lent and Holy Week for all of us. Although public Masses remain suspended, large gatherings are on hold, and even your family Easter traditions may be in flux, there are still ways for us to stay close to the Lord during this holy season and celebrate Easter!
